Standard & Specialized Asphalt Mixes
Hot mix asphalt (HMA) is a precisely engineered product made of about 95 percent stone, sand, and gravel (by weight), and about 5 percent asphalt cement, a petroleum product. Our HMA mixes are designed within our state certified lab and are created to meet the specifications set by the customers as well as each governmental agency. We also offer specialty products like warm mix asphalt (WMA), cold patch, and porous asphalt at our three asphalt plants in Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and Marion.

We offer standard and specialize asphalt mixes. Each asphalt plant has the capability to store multiple mixes, but please call the plant ahead of time to ensure we have the asphalt mix you need.
